Guest Experience gets the opportunity to create and foster a warm and welcoming environment for anyone that steps foot on our campus!

  • It is:

    • Setup coffee bar and snacks

    • Make coffee

    • Replenish Supplies

    • Assist guests with coffee bar as needed

    Is not:

    • Lifting heavy things

    • Crowd Facing

  • It is:

    • Welcome Guests

    • Escort new guests as needed

    • Energetic and smiling

    • Ready to direct guests

    Is not:

    • Behind the scenes

    • Setting anything up

  • It is:

    • Proactive in ensuring a distraction free environment

    • Helps seat guests as they come in

    • Supporting people with practical needs

    • Assists with special auditorium elements

    Is not:

    • Forceful

    • Behind the scenes

  • It is:

    • Prepares 1st time guest gifts and host tables

    • Engage in meaningful small talk with guests

    • Proactively resource 1st time guests with check in and information

Presence Kids

At Presence Kids we have an opportunity to invest in the next generation. We’re not childcare, but a safe & engaging environment where kids encounter Jesus. We’re also not a diaper-changing ministry — our volunteers do not change diapers.

  • It is:

    • Facilitating the lesson, activities, and transitions

    • Building relationships with kids through conversation and play

    • Helping kids feel safe, seen, and engaged

    • Communicating with helpers and keeping the class on schedule

    Is not:

    • Teaching alone without support

    • Being expected to have all the answers or being a Bible expert

  • It is:

    • Assisting the leader with activities, crafts, and crowd control

    • Building relationships with kids through conversation and play

    • Helping manage behavior and keeping kids engaged

    • Stepping in wherever extra help is needed

    Is not:

    • Being responsible for leading the lesson

    • Just sitting and supervising quietly

  • It is:

    • Serving as a positive role model for younger kids

    • Helping with games, activities, and transitions

    • Building friendships and making kids feel welcome

    • Supporting the leader and helper teams

    Is not:

    • Being responsible for discipline decisions

    • Being expected to lead or teach on their own

  • It is:

    • Welcoming families with warmth and enthusiasm

    • Helping guide check-in and answer basic questions

    • Assisting kids in getting to the right classroom

    • Keeping the tent area clean, organized, and prepared for after service

    Is not:

    • Being responsible for running check-in systems

    • Managing classroom behavior

  • It is:

    • Preparing classrooms before service begins

    • Setting out supplies, signage, and activities

    • Helping create a ready & welcoming environment

    • Working with the team to ensure everything is in place

    Is not:

    • Decorating or planning curriculum

    • Being responsible for running the class

  • It is:

    • Helping clean and reset classrooms after service

    • Packing supplies and returning rooms to school standards

    • Working quickly as a team to finish efficiently

    • Ensuring spaces are left better than we found them

    Is not:

    • Staying for long periods after service alone

    • Being responsible for deep cleaning

Worship + Production

Worship and Production gets to curate an environment for our church to experience the presence of God. Whether on stage or in the production booth, we get the opportunity to lead the way in worshipping Jesus.

  • It is:

    • Learning each song in the set list and playing with the band on a Sunday

    • Crowd facing role; serving with a smile

    • Auditions with the Worship Leader (to assess capacity and evaluate training needs)

    Is not:

    • It is not a performance platform or a place to showcase talent.

    • It is not casual or unprepared — excellence honors the Lord and the people we serve.

  • It is:

    • Learning each song in the set list and playing with the band on a Sunday

    • Crowd facing role; serving with a smile

    • Auditions with the Worship Leader (to assess capacity and evaluate training needs)

    Is not:

    • Playing an instrument

    • Physically demanding

  • It is:

    • Runs ProPresenter and visual elements

    • Pays close attention to the slides and executes the timing of the slides

    • Curates a distraction free environment through preparation

    • Communicates with other members in the booth to execute Sundays well

    Is not:

    • Front Facing

    • No experience needed

  • It is:

    • Mix and monitor sound to ensure a smooth service

    • Work with worship team to create a warm and welcoming environment through sound

    Is not:

    • Front facing

    • Without necessary training

  • It is:

    • Rolling Cases over to the auditorium

    • Runs cables for Audio and visuals

    • Sets tv’s and other elements such as the sound board/production booth in their proper space

    • Runs the cable covers and gaff tape in proper spots to maintain proper safety procedures

    • Sets up the stage area and speakers in an orderly fashion to ensure a distraction free environment

    Is not:

    • On Sundays

    • No experience needed

  • It is:

    • Storing, packing, and organizing Sunday equipment after service

    • Rolling cases to the container for weekday storage

    • Physically active

    Is not:

    • Front Facing

    • Participating in Worship and Production during services

Prayer

Prayer is foundational to who we are as a church. Our prayer team gets the opportunity to pray over the services, our church, and others as we invite people to experience the power of prayer.

  • It is:

    • Prays during the service

    • Reviews service notes to pray for Sunday specific elements

    Is not:

    • Praying with guests

    • Front facing

  • It is:

    • During and post service prayer with other volunteers and attendees

    • Listening to specific prayer requests and praying accordingly

    • Engages in small talk with an intentional focus on then praying with the person

    Is not:

    • Behind the scenes

    • Socially/Conversationally focused

  • It is:

    • Greets people at the entryway to the prayer room

    • Facilitates the environment of the prayer room

    • Ensures that guests are paired with the best available fit for their situation, request, and gender as needed

    • Occasionally stepping in to pray with others when all others are occupied

    Is not:

    • Behind the scenes

    • Prayer focused
